Why Should I Use MerryB Events for my child’s party?
At MerryB Events, we believe in creating enchanting celebrations that make every guest feel celebrated.  To us, this means planning your child’s party with the same attention to detail we would pay to our own child’s party.  Nothing but the best will do.  Our events exemplify style, whimsy and fun.

What's included in a MerryB Event?
Because we are always looking for unique ways to introduce new personal touches, each party is a little bit different. The Posh MerryB Event (our standard package) includes custom-printed invitations and mailing of up to 10 themed invitations; at least one event director to guide your event; tables and chairs and beautiful, detailed decor for the tables and chairs; themed, premium quality costumes; interactive party games; themed crafts; themed music; premium party favors; finger foods and premium quality cupcakes and beverages.

Can you describe what the children will do at the party?
The activities at each MerryB Event vary by theme.  Our goal is to create a memorable experience for every child so we constantly seek ways to make ours new and special.  Typically, the children will be given a themed costume upon arrival. They’ll also participate in a craft activity and an interactive game/activity before nibbling on finger foods and singing happy birthday. 

My guest list includes 12 children.  Can my MerryB Event be expanded?
Sure!  While we recommend limiting our parties to 10 guests (including the guest of honor), we also know how hard it can be to streamline the guest list.  We’ll be happy to accommodate additional partiers at a cost of $25 per guest.  For parties exceeding 12 guests we require an additional fee of $55 for a second event host, plus the cost of any additional guests. 

Do you plan events that don’t involve birthdays?
You bet we do.  If you have an occasion, we can design a party to celebrate it!  Some ideas that come to mind include Back to School, Pumpkin Carving Party, Holiday Celebrations, Ice Cream Social, Easter Egg Decorating, Autumn Harvest, Everybody’s Valentine, Leprechaun’s Mischief, Class Parties, Puppy’s birthday, Team Parties.... and, well… we could go on and on.  We just love parties!

Do you have a location?

No.  Think of our role very much like that of a wedding coordinator who plans and executes the event in the location you choose.  Our clients often elect to host their celebrations at a local home, reception hall, country club, or the like.  We can recommend venues nearby where we can provide the party for you depending upon availability. 

In this case, significant advanced notice is best and an added venue rental expense may be incurred.

Is there a certain age group your parties are most appropriate for?
Our MerryB Event theme parties are designed for children ages 4 and older. However, some events can be modified or redesigned for parties with guests of varying ages.  Give us a call and we’ll work it out together!

Do you plan 1st birthday parties?
Why yes!  We love celebrating this very special day!  We have several themes that work well for first birthday celebrations (Ladybug Picnic and Teddy Bear Picnic).  Keep in mind a wide age range of guests usually attend first birthday parties.  This can often change the scope of our planning to a more custom themed event that includes adult catering, fun décor, age appropriate activities for the older children, etc.

I have a theme in mind, but it’s not on your list.  Can you design a party around my idea?
Absolutely!  Custom designed themes are one of our favorite things to do!  At MerryB Events, we love to create personal, extraordinary events to grant your child’s every wish. From an idea as vague as “I want a party all in periwinkle” to something as specific as “I love red kites with blue stars”, we can create an event as magical as childhood.

Do you provide event services for teens or adults?
Of course we do!  While we specialize in children’s events, we are thrilled to design Sweet 16 parties, Bridal Showers, Baby Showers, and more!  We especially enjoy planning celebrations to pamper moms such as wine tastings, spa parties, shoe parties, etc.  In fact, we’ll be launching MerryB Moms before too long!
